Elizabeth grew up in Dothan, Alabama and traveled extensively around the United States and to mission trips in Africa and Venezuela. A graduate of NOLS Southwest, she transferred to Brevard College and graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies and Geology. Her favorite Geology trip was a field study in South America where she visited places like Machu Picchu, Tiwanaku, and the beautiful Lake Titicaca. Upon graduating, Elizabeth set off to Wyoming for the summer and then down to Arizona where she worked for NOLS as the SW Rations Manager. Elizabeth had an incredible experience leading the Grand Ascents and Blue Ridge Expedition trips for Moondance this summer, allowing her to share the beauty of some of her favorite places with her students!
