Thoroughly exploring the spectacular Greater Yellowstone region of Wyoming, the Grand Ascents expedition will satisfy anyone who seeks to gain advanced backcountry and climbing experience. You'll culminate your development with a summit attempt of the 13,771 foot Grand Teton, one of North America's most famous mountains and classic climbs.

Backpacking -- Wind River Range, WY

Develop solid wilderness travel skills on an extended backpacking trip into the Wind River Range, the highest and most unspoiled mountains in Wyoming. Traverse soaring ridges, negotiate dramatic passes, and maybe even play in the snow in July. Enjoy fly-fishing in the Wind Rivers' trout-filled lakes.

Rock Climbing and Mountaineering -- Grand Teton National Park

Spend three days learning to climb with Exum Mountain Guides, one of America's premier climbing schools and guide services. Start with the basics and build toward a more challenging climb to Baxter's Pinnacle or Cube Point. Culminate with a two-day summit attempt of the Grand Teton. At 13,771 feet the Grand is one of one of America's most famous mountains and classic climbs.

Whitewater Rafting -- Snake River

End with a thrilling, unforgettable whitewater raft trip down the Snake River, running famous class III and IV rapids such as Big Kahuna and Lunch Counter--a rousing end an awesome adventure.
