Colorado Trail

"This trip was most likely one of the most extraordinary, life-changing, rewarding experiences of my life. Each day was filled with activities that I, and most others had never done. Each was fun and equally challenging at the same time. It showed me that by putting your best effort in, you can accomplish anything. I think I enjoyed backpacking the most because it taught lessons that one can’t learn in a classroom."

Colorado Trail begins with whitewater rafting, an adrenaline-filled run down the Arkansas River, one of America's classic sites for whitewater rafting. For the majority of the run, your active participation will be essential in order to help navigate a raft through Class III and IV whitewater. However, there will be some though occasional calm sections, giving you a chance to relax and absorb the incredible rugged landscape around you. After coming together as a group to conquer this challenge, you all can confidently set your sights on greater adventures still yet to come.

Become familiar with the various parts of a fly rod amidst the red sandstone canyons and the scenery of the San Juan Mountains. You will be exposed to a wide variety of trout, including, brook trout, rainbow trout, and cutthroat trout.
