Grand Ascents - Map

Explore the spectacular Greater Yellowstone region of Wyoming on Grand Ascents. On this leadership adventure you will be able to increase your backcountry knowledge through an extensive backpacking section and an advanced summit attempt. At the culmination of Grand Ascents, you will be able to test your wilderness skills with a summit attempt of the 13,771 foot Grand Teton, one of North America's most famous mountains and classic climbs.

WHITEWATER RAFTING - SNAKE RIVER
Winding through the walls of the Grand Canyon on the Snake River, you will have the chance to run famous Class III and IV rapids. Conquer rapids such as "Big Kahuna" or "Lunch Counter" as you test your whitewater navigational skills.

FLY FISHING - PINEDALE, WYOMING
Just outside of Pinedale at the base of the Wind River Range, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at fly fishing. You will learn fly fishing basics such as casting skills, tackle set-up, and basic knots. Learn which flies work best for different kinds of trout as you will find that these high country rivers are full of Brook trout, Rainbow trout and Cutthroat trout.

BACKPACKING - WIND RIVER RANGE, WYOMING
Develop concrete backcountry skills on an extended backpacking trip throughout the Wind River Range, the highest and most pristine mountains in Wyoming. Traverse soaring ridges, negotiate dramatic passes, and maybe even play in the snow in July! Enjoy fly fishing in the Wind Rivers' trout-filled lakes.

ROCK CLIMBING AND MOUNTAINEERING - GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK

Spend three days learning to climb with Exum Mountain Guides, one of America's premier climbing schools and guide services.
