BEACH BACKPACKING - OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK
You will learn the basics of wilderness travel after backpacking along the coast of the Olympic Peninsula for four days. You’ll marvel at the sculptured cliffs, arches and sea stacks, explore tide pools with an abundance of marine life, and share dazzling sunsets with bald eagles, sea otters, and sea lions who also make this coast their home.
MOUNTAIN BACKPACKING - OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK
Your group will venture inland for an extended backpacking expedition in the Olympic Mountains and be able to explore the magnificent temperate rainforest. Surrounded by flowered meadows and hanging snowfields resting above tree line, you will gain leadership experience and fine-tune your backcountry skills as you continue to train for your summit attempt of Mount Rainier.
ROCK CLIMBING - SMITH ROCK
Take a journey down to the country’s most admired climbing spot, Smith Rock, where you will challenge yourself and expand upon your climbing abilities. You will spend two days climbing at Smith Rock where you will be able to try multiple top rope climbs, witness spectacular sunsets, and camp beneath its towering rock formations.
MOUNT RAINIER SUMMIT BID - MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK
Accompanied by professional guides from renowned Rainier Mountaineering, Inc., you and your group will spend three days climbing one of the world’s most invigorating and awe-inspiring mountains. Standing at 14,410 feet above sea level, it is one of the only mountains that starts at ground zero. Your group will weave through steep snow slopes and heavily crevassed glaciers to reach the beautiful summit of Mount Rainier.
