SEA KAYAKING - PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND
For five-days, experience the beauty of Alaska from a completely different perspective that you may be used to. You and your group will sea kayak along the rugged shores and through the stunning blue waters of Prince William Sound. Explore fjords where massive glaciers sweep down to the water from the Chugach Mountains and calve off into a floating wonderland of small icebergs--and be sure to keep your eyes alert for harbor seals, bald eagles, whales, and sea otters! Camp on remote beaches accessible only by kayak where a fascinating intertidal ecosystem awaits your exploration.

BACKPACKING AND WHITEWATER RAFTING - TALKEETNA MOUNTAIN RANGE AND CHICKALOON RIVER
Journey inland to the remote and unfrequented terrain of the Talkeetna Mountain Range for an extended backpacking and rafting expedition. Sharpen your backcountry skills and learn the finer points of navigation as you hike primarily off-trail through the vast arctic tundra above tree line. At the conclusion of your backpacking section, trade in your hiking boots for wetsuits and your backpacks for rafts--shuttled deep into the backcountry by a bush pilot!--as you embark on a two day rafting trip along the Chickaloon River. Braving Class III and IV rapids in a breathtakingly remote setting you’ll learn to navigate your rafts through the heart of the Talkeetnas.
