CANYONEERING - MOAB DESERT, UTAH
Begin your trip with a two-day canyoneering trip through the deep, sandstone cracks and crevices of the Earth. The Moab desert offers some of the most sinuous landscapes waiting to be explored by adventure-seekers like yourself. With the help of professional guides, you and your group will make your way through winding, narrow corridors of red rock (some only two feet wide!) by rappelling, climbing, and rock scrambling. Reach hidden streams and waterfalls and desolate canyon locations only seen by a privileged few.
BACKPACKING - SAN JUAN MOUNTAIN RANGE
On your backpacking expedition you can expect days filled with breathtaking views of the heart of the San Juan Mountains. Surrounded by high mountain streams, lush forests and towering peaks, you will soon understand the true meaning of simplicity that accompanies backpacking. Depending upon the weather, you will have the opportunity to summit Colorado’s famous Centennial Peak, where you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of the incredible San Juan wilderness. As you scramble to the summit, remember one student's wisdom: "The toughness of the climb makes the view even better." It will be the experience of a lifetime.
WHITEWATER RAFT - THE COLORADO RIVER
You and your group will end your Rocky Mountain Wildwater trip as you venture down the Colorado River, Utah's most popular rafting river, on an adventur-filled five day rafting trip. The whitewaters of the river will wind you through red rock canyons made of soaring stone towers and red cliff walls reaching 2000 feet above your raft. See unique rock formations that been transformed by the wind and river over the course of 300 million years. You and your group will maneuver through class IV and V rapids after the Colorado River's confluence with the Green River resulting in an increase of water level. These high waters will take you on a ride of your life through the fourteen mile stretch of the Cataract Canyon. With beautiful desert sites, raging water, and maybe a few sitings of the famous desert big horn sheep, there's no rafting trip of its kind!
