From surf to riverside, this trip takes you through the most beautiful and thrilling waterways of the Caribbean. Get PADI Open Water Diver certified exploring one of the most beautiful reefs on the planet; earn service hours in the Costa Rican countryside, and soak up the surf on the Central American Pacific. Paddle the canyons of the Pacuare River, and wake to howler monkeys on the banks. This trip offers an experience on the wilder and more wondrous side of paradise.

Settle into Belize as you spend a week immersed in the world of coral reefs. Earning your PADI Open Water Diver you will learn to navigate gear and techniques to master the art of underwater exploration. Once you have been trained to safely and confidently dive, you’ll have an all access pass to Belize’s barrier reefs. Explore the technicolor coral forests, diverse wildlife and weightlessness of life under the sea.

cultural immersion

Travel to the green mountains of Costa Rica and work with the people of El Brujo. Immerse yourself in Costa Rican culture, living ‘pura vida’ at its finest. Get to know this welcoming community as you work with them on their most pressing needs. You may plant a garden, paint a house, or play soccer with kids. Most importantly you’ll gain experience giving back among the natural wonders of Costa Rica.

white water rafting

Carve through the lush jungle on the thrilling rapids of the Pacuare River. Featuring deep canyons, spectacular waterfalls, and turquoise water, the Pacuare is one of the most scenic rivers in the world. You’ll learn to paddle the class three and four rapids by day, and spend the nights in an eco lodge nestled deep in the jungle. Look up for sloths and monkeys who live in the trees above you!

surfing

Ride the tides where the jungle meets the sea as you learn to surf at Uvita beach. Spend two days mastering the art of longboarding as professional guides show you how to paddle into and read waves. Soon you’ll be independently catching the rolling swell of this famed Costa Rican coastline. Perfect Pacific pura vida!
